Located in Brea, CA 92821. Brian Tochilin has been recording bands since 1995. He has worked with all types of rock genres, ranging from classic rock to ska to his normal clientele of hard rock.
Brian started off as head engineer recording live bands for a radio station in Southern California. Some of the bands that passed through there were The Specials, The Vandals, The Toasters, Gwar, The Aquabats, Ozomatli, Save Ferris, The Nuckle Brothers, Jump With Joey, The Descendents, All, Dave Wakeling, Fishbone, The Skatalites, Dance Hall Crashers, The Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Royal Crown Review, The Skalars, Dem Brooklyn Bums, Home Grown, Citizen Fish, Hagfish, The Ataris, Big Sandy and his Fly-Rite Boys, The Slackers, Spring Heeled Jack, Limbeck, Phantom Planet, Jimmy Eat World, Big D and the Kids Table, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Fugazi, Mustard Plug, The OC Supertones, Toots & The Maytals, At The Drive-In, My Superhero, Lets Go Bowling, Jurassic 5 and many more.
In 1995 Brian started recording bands on a 8 track and it moved at a steady rate from there. Later using 2" tape and popular digital formats. Several years later Brian started working with more established bands. Some of those bands include. Thrice, Avenged Sevenfold, Jimmy Eat World, Limbeck, Project 86 and many more. A-Room Studios is a professional recording studio located in the city of Brea. Located conveniently near the 91, 57, 5, 60, 22 and 55 freeways. Nearby locations are Disneyland, The Orange County Convention Center and many popular eating destinations. Laying the foundation of a huge professional drum sound is paramount to any recording. A-Room Studios has a full Pork Pie drum set and 10 snares for you to choose from. We also have a very large selection of amps, guitars, basses and acoustics for you to use free of charge. Brian will work with your band to get a great bass tone and an “end of the world” guitar sound.
